Three Year Warranty

 

Any EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. designed and manufactured part, which is used in an EnviroPump and Seal, Inc.  VIT™ ANSI pump, VIT Pump, or VIT Retrofit/Upgrade, except as otherwise noted, which fails during the first three (3) years of operation will be repaired or replaced at no charge except in case of “abuse” such as dry running or running without lube oil. This replacement policy will be made available for a one-time replacement of any component. Replacement will be made with a new or refurbished part (at the sole discretion of EnviroPump and Seal, Inc.); upon receipt of the failed part at EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. Normal purchase price for parts will be in effect thereafter.

 

Pump Shaft Extended 10 Year Warranty:

 

The pump shaft in the EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. power frame is warranted against breakage, bending, and any damage in any critical areas caused during operation by EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. mechanical seals or labyrinth seals for its lifetime. This replacement policy will be made available for a one-time replacement at any time during the life of the pump.

 

Mechanical Seal Extended Warranty:

 

EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. will warranty any mechanical seal components which fail during operation, according to the following schedule:

 

  • First failure any time during first three years of operation, one-time repair or replacement will be at 1/3 the current list price of a new seal.
  • Second and all subsequent repairs will be at 2/3 the current list price of a new seal.
  • Replacement will be made with a new or refurbished part (at the sole discretion of EnviroPump and Seal, Inc.) upon receipt of the failed part at EnviroPump and Seal, Inc.*

 

Motor and Couplings Warranty:

All motors and all couplings furnished by EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. will carry the standard warranty as offered by the original manufacturer.

 

Procedure to Obtain Three-Year Warranty

1.   Application must be reviewed and approved by EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. or the local Authorized EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. Distributor.

2.   Distributor must file Warranty/Application Registration with EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. at time of sale.*(Click here to Register on-line)

All parts are replaced FOB factory, Marietta, GA with either a new or a refurbished part. Should a customer elect to replace an unfailed part, or a part that is damaged during removal from the equipment or in transit to EnviroPump and Seal, Inc., the new unfailed part will be sold at normal purchase price. No warranty is made against corrosion, erosion or abuse.

 

This Three-Year Warranty is offered according to the above conditions and procedures, and is offered above and beyond the standard Basic Warranty described below. This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, either expressed or implied or by trade usage in connection with the design, sale or use of any of its equipment, and EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. shall in no event be liable for loss, damage, injury or expense resulting from the failure of operation, faulty operation, or breakdown of the equipment supplied hereunder or of any part, nor for special, remote or consequential damages of any nature, nor in any event, for any amount in excess of the cost of the repair to the defective part or a replacement part.

 

Basic Warranty

(The Basic Warranty takes effect if the pump/seal is not registered for the three-year warranty.)

All Products sold by EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. are warranted for a period of one year, from date of shipment from the Distributor, to be free from defects in material and workmanship disclosed under normal storage, use, and service. If the Purchaser, within this period, notifies EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. in writing of any such claimed defects in the EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. supplied product, and if, after appropriate tests and inspections by a representative of EnviroPump and Seal, Inc., the product is found not to be in conformity with this warranty, EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. will at its option and expense, either repair the same or provide a replacement thereof, FOB shipping point. If EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. exercise its option to repair at the installation site, it is understood that EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. personnel or representatives shall have free access to the equipment and freedom to work on it or remove it from the site for subsequent repairs.

 

General

The forgoing warranties do not cover, and EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. makes no warranty, with respect to: (a) failures not reported to EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. within the warranty period; (b) failure or damage due to chemical action, or wear caused by the presence of abrasive materials; (c) equipment which has been altered, except as authorized by EnviroPump and Seal, Inc.; (d) equipment which has been damaged in shipment or otherwise without the fault of EnviroPump and Seal, Inc.; (e) equipment not originally supplied by EnviroPump and Seal, Inc.; (f) equipment & components damaged during installation or removal.

 

This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, either expressed or implied or by trade usage in connection with the design, sale or use of any of its equipment, and EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. shall in no event be liable for loss, damage, injury or expense resulting from the failure of operation, faulty operation, or breakdown of the equipment supplied hereunder or of any part, nor for special, remote or consequential damages of any nature, nor in any event, for any amount in excess of the cost of the repair to the defective part or a replacement part.

 

*Custom made components, non stock items, and special elastomers (perfluroelastomers, Kalrez™, Chemraz™, etc.) are excluded. EnviroPump and Seal, Inc. reserves the right to modify the warranty without notice.
